On Thursday, September 21, 2023, the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation will host the campus’ first-ever Teach Day. Shifting away from the Teach Week format used in previous years during April, Teach Day will enable campus faculty, staff, and students to gather prior to the start of the 2023-24 academic year for an all-day event focused on learning about cutting-edge pedagogical innovation and research, sharing ideas and expertise, and celebrating the amazing accomplishments and dedication of UCI instructors.
Teach Day’s program will be highly collaborative with a keynote speaker, panels, workshops, and research talks. The day will culminate with our traditional Celebration of Teaching event to honor the past year’s teaching award winners and our first cohort of Faculty Academy of Teaching Excellence (FATE) Fellows.
