Are you ready to attend T-SPOP?
Registering for UCI’s Transfer Student Parent Orientation Program is an item on the Transfer Checklist.

Note: In person T-SPOP sessions are highly recommended to attend. Meet fellow transfer students and faculty members by registering and attending this overnight orientation.
Note: Also, T-SPOP (Orientation for International Students) occurs in early July before Summer Session II begins, so be sure to decide which SPOP is right for you when you register.

Do you know who your Academic Advisor is yet?
Academic advisors/counselors at UCI, facilitate the academic development of all students and assist them in achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals by providing high quality academic advising and guidance. Students will connect with their School advisors to register for classes online, so be on the lookout for communication via email from them early on.
Have you scheduled/taken your placement exams?
While most transfers do not need to take placement tests, some courses may require them. You are encouraged to work with your academic advisor during your required academic advising session in the summer to determine if you are required to take any placement tests.
Visit the Academic Testing Center website for information about tests, testing dates, and a guide that can help you determine what you might want to or need to take.

Ready to find and enroll in your classes?
Transfer students are required to meet with their academic advisor before registering for courses. You will receive an email mid-summer with information about and instructions to register for your academic advising session.
To prepare yourself to register for classes at UCI, you can visit UCI’s General Catalogue of courses that are offered through each department.
As a reminder, official registration at UCI consists of two separate steps that must be completed in order to be officially registered – enrollment in classes and payment of tuition and fees.
The Registrar’s Office, which is the department responsible for maintaining student record, grades, and transcripts, can provide you with a current class receipt showing that you are registered, once your enrollment in classes and payment of tuition and fees have both been completed. You may also view registration via WebReg or StudentAccess, and your financial account status via Zot Account Online.
